Graduate Patent Attorney 2012

Technical Assistant
Communications Engineering / Electronic Engineering / Physics.

We are seeking graduate entrants with a background in Communications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Physics. New graduates will initially be based in our London office, but may have the option to move to our Bristol or Farnham offices. Additionally, for candidates with good German, a placement in our Munich office may also be possible.

Candidates should have a relevant degree with at least upper second-class honours. They must be able to write in clear and concise English. A PhD would be an advantage. Candidates should have the commitment and drive to deliver excellent client service, whilst studying for and passing professional examinations.

All necessary training will be provided to lead to full qualification as a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney.

Part-Qualified Patent Attorney

We require a part-qualified patent attorney with a strong background in engineering or physics.  The successful candidate will have an excellent academic record (minimum 2:1 degree) and at least a year's experience in the patent profession, gained either in private practice or industry.

Based in our London office and working under the direct supervision of a partner, this is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an ambitious and self-confident individual.  Assistance and appropriate training will be provided to allow qualification to be achieved.
