Out and About

In March, Stephen James was elected President of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys, the specialist United Kingdom professional body for trade mark attorneys.

He also spoke at the INTA Annual Meeting in Atlanta in May on the impact of enlargement on the CTM system.

Tim Pendered also spoke at INTA and at Management Forum workshops in London in July on the Community Design. He will be speaking on the same topic at the International Trade Mark Conference in London in October.

Roger George attended the INTA Annual Meeting in May as a member of the Programs Committee.

Jenkins is also delighted to welcome into the firm two new trade mark professionals, Angela Fox and Joanne Ling. Ms Fox is a trade mark attorney, joining the firm from the IP practice of Clifford Chance. Ms Ling is a trade mark attorney who previously worked at Castle’s.

In the recently published Legal 500 rankings for 2004, Jenkins is in the top tier of four recommended firms of UK trade mark attorneys.
