Simone Ferrara

Simone joined Jenkins in 2008 and is training towards qualification as a Patent Attorney.  He is particularly interested in applications related to communications, electromagnetism, digital and statistical signal processing.

Simone obtained an MSc (Laurea) in Telecommunications Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2005. While working towards his MSc thesis, he was a Research Scientist at the Centre for Wireless Communications in Oulu (Finland) where he conducted and completed his research on soft wireless channel estimation techniques.  Simone went on to receive an MS in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis (USA), where he also worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant. 

Simone is fluent in Italian, which is his mother tongue, and he also has a good understanding of both French and Spanish.

In his spare time, Simone enjoys running, cooking, travelling and any activity that allows him to express his creativity.
